About Melbet in Sri Lanka
Melbet is an online betting and casino brand that has been running since 2019. We build one account that covers sports betting, a casino and live dealer tables, and we show prices in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) for players in the country. What You Can Play and Bet On
The sportsbook takes more than 1,000 events a day. Cricket has its own section with Broadcasts, LIVE, SPORTS and All leagues tabs, and the line also covers football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, horse racing and esports such as CS 2, Dota 2 and Valorant. Account, Currency and Payments
A new account is opened in LKR by default. You can register by phone number with a +94 code, by e-mail or in one click, and you can add a second account in another currency later. Deposits and withdrawals are available seven days a week, and the cashier lists local banks, wallets and QR methods with their own limits in rupees.
Withdrawals go to the same details that were used for the deposit, and a payout may need an identity check. The documents we ask for and the reasons are described in our KYC and AML policy.
Licence and Age Rules
Melbet operates under a Curaçao eGaming licence. Online gambling in Sri Lanka is regulated by the Gambling Regulatory Authority. Check the laws that apply to you before playing.
